Rural & Remote Allied-health Mentoring and Professional Development Pilot Program
Are you a rural/remote practitioner feeling isolated, searching for a way to do CPD, and eager for genuine support and practical development that truly understands your challenges and helps you excel where you are?
This is a brand new program to support Practitioners and empower them in their clinical practice and wellbeing.

Working in rural/remote practice is rewarding, but it also comes with challenges:

Professional and social isolation

Limited access to CPD opportunities

High stress and burnout risks

Service gaps caused by turnover and shortages
My Story... After working as a Senior Physiotherapist in private practice in Rural Queensland and providing outreach to even more remote communities, I experienced firsthand the isolation that so many Rural Practitioners face.
I discovered that, despite loving my friends and the unique rural lifestyle, a week off or an occasional day of CPD wasn’t enough to sustain a truly fulfilling life and career rurally.
This program was created to fill those gaps—bringing genuine connection, ongoing support, and meaningful professional development to rural healthcare, so that practitioners like me no longer have to face these challenges alone.
